Only chiming in to say that I’ve been painting houses for 15 years and was thinking about the buried shipping crate issue and realized you could easily coat the metal with many many applications of available painting products and probably add decades of life to the metal. Yeah I neither have the means not the drive to attempt it, just saying you could coat the metal in enough paint and products to take nature a LONG time to get down to the metal and expose the weaknesses/health risks of it

we were getting 4" rain an hour west of us, our reservoirs are full, I could see trails behind the clouds yesterday, chances of storms all around us, straight line winds came through Sunday, I believe, broke door at grocery store and they were without power rest of the day, we lost power briefly, storm only lasted 20 min or so but was kind of fierce
