But I wouldn’t understand that the Cross reveals everything about God unless I had learned about it through the scriptures. Otherwise I would have taken FOREVER to explain all my thoughts about God and painted an entire chapel ceiling to try and explain Him. It’s only because of the scriptures that I know the simplicity and complete understanding of God is found in the cross of Christ

I do not disagree that god is everything and we are god, i believe that the idea that we are god is exactly what the bad forces in nature try to abuse... try to manipulate and control US because WE are GOD, in order to remove create the universe they want to be in... this is the reason for the push in virtue seeking, nihilism and narcissism.
But they forget... we are not so controllable... just as they push on one side, they don't realize that we can push on the other, they thought we'ed just bow down to their demands of reality.
That's just my perception though...

Even if the scripture was manipulated, we all take it in differently, what they removed / left behind may have been suitable to imprint their ideas BUT they forget that perception is subjective and what they left behind could have been exactly what the people of belief needed to understand to push back against the oppressors when the time came.
