I think the problem with a platform like AIM is for the people who either can’t or won’t do research or have background knowledge in subject areas. Deliberate mistakes/misinformation are meant to send people off course and keep things hidden.
That is the issue with CNN and other MSM. They are just more obvious in their bias and misinformation.
