@Riggy17 (UK) - The question to ask is do they have more to gain or lose by announcing her retirement/demise. The answer is "lose". If they announce it - a new POTUS picked justice will be nominated/confirmed... the Senate controls Judiciary nominations not the congress "the Senate was everything". They announce her retirement... they lose... her passing they lose.
