Presidential spokesman General Otávio de Rêgo Barros insisted that there is no official confirmation of the positioning of Venezuelan missiles in the border region, aimed at Brazil.
"The plans related to every geopolitical spectrum of our sovereignty are updated," said Rêgo Barros, referring to the military protocols of reaction to any aggression to the country's sovereignty, based on constitutional precepts. "We do not 'combine' combat power," he said shortly before being asked about the presence of the missiles.
