Just listening to CPAC speech. POTUS mentioned 3 #s to do with tariff laws/statutes( I think): 301, 382 and 1938(may have been a year). He also mentioned that tariffs ended in 1913- same year that the Federal Reserve began.

had the tariffs stayed in effect, the reason for the fed reserve woulda ended in a few yrs

also u have to consider..those that forced the issue of fed reserve had control of the import and export ...and therefore made tariffs less effective
