I've always loved Africa and I've always wanted to go. My uncle is a zoologist a few years ago he got the opportunity to go work in Zambia for a few years.

>get in car and drive a little while away
>find a good spot of uninterrupted bush past the farmland
>get out and dick around for a few hours
>after like 3 hours I get the feeling of being watched
>can't shake it
>pretty much immediately leave because fuck that feeling when you're in the bush
>get back to car without incident and get back to uncle's house
>ffw a few hours to that night
>laying in bed
>reading some manga I brought over
>have window open cause it was a nice night out
>hear some shuffling outside the window
>figure it's some animal or some shit
>then I hear a kind of warbling/rumbling sound
>sounds kind of like the sound you hear when an electric garage door is being opened from far away
>figure it's just that
>after like 20 seconds it doesn't stop
>get worried
>more shuffling around outside the window
>get off the bed and lay on the ground facing the window
>hear more shuffling and that rumbling sound getting just a bit louder and louder
>about to shit myself
>hear from outside some slurred and loud voices from some clearly drunk guys
>noise stops
>hear a lot of shuffling and then silence besides the guys' voices
>uncle comes in
>asks what's wrong
>tell him what happened
>he figures I'm just fucking with him
>tells me to be a man and close the window if I'm scared
>can't bring myself to do it
>he finally does it
>like an hour later hear something outside run off

It's always the worst when you can't see it

I had something like that at my family cabin once when I was smoking a cig on the back porch. It was the porch, a gravel parking area that went about 30 feet back, then a hillside with tall trees around everything and no other lights aside from the porch light.

Up on the hill in the woods I saw two eyes just watching me. Was hard to tell how far off the ground they were. Couldn't see an outline of it, too dark. I didn't think it was a bear, so I finished my cig while staring right at it, then went inside.

What scared the shit out of me was the moment I turned by back. I didn't hear it do anything, just this strong instinctive fear piped up. So I was pretty quick in getting back inside. When I turned around to look back out through the door: it was gone.

I think it was probably a wolf or a coyote.

I once heard steps in the attic, my mom never goes there and she was smoking a cig ať the only place you get to the attic

But I've got audiohallucinations so that's normal

Theyrey really spoopy sometimes tho

Like usually when I'm working on something with my dad he has this really happy chuckle that's characteristic of him

50% of the time I hear him do it he's not actually doing it

Also I always see him do the chuckle at the corner of my vision but when I turn my focus to him it stops

And I can hear the TV in my mom's bedroom on when it's not

And recently I can hear the dude I sit with say shit to himself quite often.

And also like half the time he's just not saying anything

I also absolutely fucking hate the sense of being watched, I usually get it at night outside.

One time I came back from work at midnight and one of my sink filters that I had stored in a cupboard fell to the kitchen floor

i was on my family's farm, it was night and my mother left me to take care of the house, i was feeling very fucking depressed so i just cracked a bottle by the half of liquor, and stood on the front bedroom watching shit and drinking

everything was alright but i started hearing something outside the window, our porch is solid smoothed concrete

and i could hear hooves walking on it

some people told me that perhaps it was just a donkey or cow but

a little detail that i just forgot at the time was: the door to the "barn" were closed tight as always

i heard it so close to the window, i wanted to freak out but i remembered the shit i read on places like this

panicking perhaps would be worse

i still feel kinda fucking disturbed by it tho
