Guys how do I know when a clutch/transmission is going on a manual?
it could be clutch going, clutch cable depending on how old gen car is etc
depends on what it feels/does
I have a really bad rattling noise in 2nd gear in particular but also 3rd
fencing is implicit
is it in gear
Lol yes
or do you have clutch in at all
No
Its in gear and driving
If its a new noise go to a mechanic
No clutch
then its the gear
/trans
Fuck
That's worse
Go see a mechanic
or Ghoul
F
I have 4 grand in my checking acct rn
That cover a transmission fix for a 2010 mini Cooper clubman s?
it could be a range of shit id get it check
I had a buddy at work fry a transmission on a mini cooper idk what it costed
he also fucked the fly wheel
If its a rattle, if your lucky it could be something external
it should be a lot cheaper to fix a manual than an auto or at least it was on old cars maybe time passed me by
not the tran
Damn I hope so
Something random just making noise when your shifting
If it gets worse of the next 2 weeks I'll make a mechanic appointment
It just started today
Nah it's in cycle with the engine
When engine revs 0ick up it sounds worse/more intense
And vice versa
Its not just something resonating due to the speed of the vehicle
It's something that's in the system of stuff. That makes the car go
It still could be something external
but its prolly the trans
dont let it go too long
