It’s been ten years and I still have a one of those gorilla shelves stacked to the top with .30-06 ammo in clips

2018-09-29 17:05:54 UTC

The big ones at that

2018-09-29 17:23:23 UTC

nice

2018-09-29 17:32:19 UTC

I mean
I’d rather have him back than have loads of ammo.

2018-09-29 17:34:18 UTC

30-06 is still a viable round

2018-09-29 17:34:21 UTC

Not fudd at all

2018-09-29 17:35:50 UTC

Isn’t it like right on par with 7.62 nato though

2018-09-29 17:36:28 UTC

Hotter and heavier

2018-09-29 17:36:54 UTC

And if you reload more play in the load data

2018-09-29 17:39:18 UTC

Huh, I thought they had wound up with nearly identical kinetic energy

2018-09-29 17:39:36 UTC

I don’t reload though

2018-09-29 17:40:37 UTC

I do keep all the brass though. Lots of it was mangled pretty bad out of one of my Garands though. Dunno why.

2018-09-29 18:03:53 UTC

.308 factory loads have surpassed 30-06 loads because 30-06 factory loads have to be pressured for 1903s and the old pressure standard

2018-09-29 18:04:42 UTC

Though with the larger case cap you can definitely get more interesting performance out of it with reloads

2018-09-29 18:16:32 UTC

Anyone get a Tac-14/Shockwave type gun yet? I'm ordering one Friday, was curious as to some recommended loads for fun

2018-09-29 18:18:12 UTC

Aguila minishells

2018-09-29 18:18:15 UTC

You're welcome

2018-09-29 18:27:54 UTC

>Shell flips

2018-09-29 18:31:40 UTC

I would suggest starting with low recoil stuff to get a feel for it before moving to full power loads

2018-09-29 20:32:26 UTC

I have a shockwave and it’s honestly so fun to shoot.

2018-09-29 20:32:52 UTC

The recoil isn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be even with higher powered shells

2018-09-29 20:33:39 UTC

It does have a really wide spread but I expected that from the short barrel

2018-09-29 22:33:10 UTC

Get the knoxx grip with the sling swivel adater on a carbine end can

2018-09-29 22:33:22 UTC

Reduces recoil even for a 90° grip

2018-09-29 22:33:26 UTC

Still 26"

2018-09-29 22:35:25 UTC

I’m considering buying an arm brace for mine

2018-09-29 22:49:33 UTC

how much is a shockwave

Didn't realize the 607 had that much smaller of a diameter

2018-09-29 23:22:57 UTC

Modding required

2018-09-29 23:46:17 UTC

@Schwarmenius They make an adapter for mini shells that helps keep the flipping to a minimum. You can use some really aggressive 00 Buck without too much recoil either. Like Fiocchi HV Buck.

@Deleted User at most 400. You can get a Remshit one off Buds for like 250

2018-09-29 23:54:24 UTC

@Detroit Lion I saw one for Mossbergs & Mavericks, but haven't found any for 870s, do they have the same issue with shell flipping?

2018-09-29 23:55:54 UTC

I'd assume the Remmington ones do aswell. Since they are much smaller than a standard shotshell

2018-09-30 00:00:49 UTC

With the Shockwave you get 5+1 The Tac has 4+1.

2018-09-30 00:01:15 UTC

Mossbergs can do mini shells
