Very few guns are made with good aesthetics anymore. These old designs that didn’t work can now be made better, lighter, and more reliable with modern day technology while still having a good look to them.

They say you can buy one of those cheap tumblers at harbor freight and put your brass in there with some sort of soap, vinegar, and sand mixture and that is the cheapest. Look on YouTube there’s a bunch of videos on it that give exact measurements.

On the topic of black powder revolvers, I recently found out there are more people in my state than I originally thought that carried them.

In my state you can get a concealed carry permit at 18 but of course you still can’t buy a handgun until 21 unless it’s through a private sale. So apparently a lot of 18-21 year olds are buying black powder revolvers to carry.

Not in my state there isn’t.

I think a lot of them don’t realize you can do that or don’t want to take the time to build it

The only odd thing is that someone scrubbed the markings off the top of the receiver.

This gun is in pretty good shape, there’s a few dings in the stock and some rust but not real pitting and the rifling is crisp

I’ll have to keep my eye out for a good price on a bayonet for it.

Does anyone know of a good company that I can get a policy with for just my firearms? I’m mainly worried about theft and fire damage but it would also be nice to have a plan that covers water damage as well.

No because it actually was advanced for it’s time and I don’t think anyone is claiming it’s better than an AR or and AK. Accuracy wise it might be better than a lot of modern day rifles but that’s all it really has going for it.
