If so, get the Takedown. If not, get a normal one and a stock you like, or maybe better iron sights.

If you have to fire 900 rounds back to back something has gone very wrong.
Then again, it only takes what, 2000 rounds if even to melt any given LMG or HMG, so 900 isn't that bad for a rifle.

The issue apparently is that they're having pretty severe accuracy degradation well short of the 900 round mark
accuracy goes down because of high temperature areas and heated barrels it says

I'm frankly shocked that heating a barrel causes accuracy loss. Who knew that precisely machined parts under thermal expansion stresses would no longer perform to spec?
