that guy in the middle over did his eye shadow
eyes look sunken
pretty sure you dont need to
isnt there that company that'll sell Lugers between US and Europe?
they do it
I'm just saying it's possible
unless they actually vote for libs
if you can't trust them with a gun, you can't trust them without a custodian
selling single cigs on the street corner...
yay gun violence protection orders
or divorce court
get fucked
eww sten
cool to shoot though
gross mags
double to single stack
you could get a MAC 10 or 11
or
a S&W 76
basically a Carl Gustav M45
they run about $5-7K
maybe a weird polish or czech rifle?
wow thats odd
I was leaning SVT-40 without the metal heat shield, but the stock was all wrong
SGAmmo Temporary Sale - 1000 Rounds - 9mm Luger 115 grain FMJ Wolf Mil-spec Ammo Steel case with Lacquer and Sealant - Made in Russia by Barnaul
$133.80 + $16.00 Shipping
that's ridiculously cheap
if your gun can't shoot steel case...get a new gun
the ammo you'd need to shoot to wear out your barrel and extractor outweighs a new barrel
cost wise
buy it cheap and stack it deep
only thing I will say about the primer sealant is that it gets in the firing pin channel
so clean that out regularly
yes
pistol ammo is lower pressure
etc
as far as that steel case on sale goes, it's 14 cents a round, cheapest brass cased I find is 18cpr
stove pipes in pistols? not unless your gun can't cycle it
I can get 2000rds of steel cased for the cost of brass, which is great if you shoot a lot
^
but do you shoot the expensive shit to cycle it out?
I was asking bald eagle lol
yeaaaaa shoot it up
I have a few carry rounds that I've had for years as an example
shit gets beat up
Most of the good carry stuff is around $1 per @Bald Eagle Jerk
but how much is your life worth?
yes
also, you should shoot it to see how it runs and how it feels
stick with the known performers
HSTs, Golt Dots, XTPs
I have had two glock extractors fail due to lint
@Bald Eagle Jerk carry whatever weight you prefer, some prefer heavy for caliber
I prefer +P 124gr 9mm Gold Dot for energy and expansion
the 147gr HST performs very well
watch his 9mm ammo quest
that too
again, depends on how the pistol handles it
I would recommend 147gr HST for the 938
and whatever you want for the P07
@tumble 7N6 will last forever and its not because of the sealant or corrosive primer
lol
@Innaswamp I don't like the Hornady poly tipped stuff after watching them fail to penetrate a windshield
know your ammo limitations
lol
stuff happens and you can't plan for every situation
@tumble 7N6 will last forever and its not because of the sealant or corrosive primer
I've shot x54r from 1945 that was stored properly and it was fine
modern car windows are now laminate like windshields
so they are a bit tougher
@tumble yes, sealed and dry. temperature is a factor. it really comes down to chemistry
^
cant plan for everything
@tumble the difference you'll notice is that the old 7n6 will perform differently than newer production due to changes in powder, etc
@Runes on the contrary, i think thats the perfect ammo for a class when you're going to burn 1K in a weekend at a class you paid $500 to attend, plus travel
but y tho
why?
sounds like they have more than one issue
I understand that much, but plenty of people show up to those classes with crap guns and have issues anyway
although I'd be curious how well a pistol would work after 1K of steel case and no cleaning...
oh geez, yea people who bring commander 1911s to classes
^
I've seen all the STIs at the local pin and plate shoots choke
finnicky things
yup
it's not even that
the USMC tossed their new 1911s after discovering how much maintenance they require
buy whatever you want, but the cerakote doesn't make it run better
caniks are... well we dont talk about those
a holster
lol
Nighthawk custom are cool 1911s, but it's still a 1911
their HiPowers are cool
GCode for lvl 2 or three retention
the only thing I don't like about GCode is that they don't make CZ holsters
