He forgoes the top rail

2018-12-05 19:06:08 UTC

Also his jewzi post got zucced

2018-12-05 20:07:13 UTC

So apparently the G36 will literally melt after sustained fire?

2018-12-05 20:07:30 UTC

no it won't

2018-12-05 20:07:49 UTC

they literally had a lawsuit over this and one

2018-12-05 20:10:05 UTC

oh they melt alright

2018-12-05 20:16:44 UTC

If you have to fire 900 rounds back to back something has gone very wrong.

2018-12-05 20:17:43 UTC

Then again, it only takes what, 2000 rounds if even to melt any given LMG or HMG, so 900 isn't that bad for a rifle.

2018-12-05 20:23:19 UTC

Wasnt the Geman gov trying to weasel out of the contract or something saying that the guns delivered were shit and HK made that video to show that they were working as promised?

2018-12-05 20:37:51 UTC

not recently

2018-12-05 20:37:59 UTC

do you mean originally?

2018-12-05 20:41:58 UTC

Im not sure, I just remember someone attaching that story to that video at some point

2018-12-05 20:56:18 UTC

The issue apparently is that they're having pretty severe accuracy degradation well short of the 900 round mark

2018-12-05 20:58:48 UTC

accuracy goes down because of high temperature areas and heated barrels it says

2018-12-05 22:04:32 UTC

interesting bayonet you've got there

2018-12-05 22:14:47 UTC

I'm frankly shocked that heating a barrel causes accuracy loss. Who knew that precisely machined parts under thermal expansion stresses would no longer perform to spec?

2018-12-05 22:15:27 UTC

Over crimp?

2018-12-06 01:16:05 UTC

Accuracy loss is caused by the front trunnion shifting when the polymer melts. Kind of a big design flaw

2018-12-06 01:29:38 UTC

Who knew precisely machined parts under thermal expansion stress would no longer perform to spec?

2018-12-06 01:30:00 UTC

>not using thermoset
>why

2018-12-06 01:47:54 UTC

I want a battle rifle that’s not my HK91 so bad.

2018-12-06 01:48:30 UTC

If I find a SCAR for under 2700 I’m probably gonna buy it. But the Bren 2 seems like it’ll be sick. I already love CZ

2018-12-06 01:49:05 UTC

Also that’s a good bit of crimp but seems alright to me.

2018-12-06 01:49:34 UTC

The scar is shit

2018-12-06 01:50:12 UTC

You can't put a can on it, the reciver beats itself to death, it is heavy as shit and the accuracy leaves something to be desired.

2018-12-06 01:50:17 UTC

Get the bren

2018-12-06 01:50:36 UTC

Heavy?

2018-12-06 01:51:06 UTC

Yes

2018-12-06 01:51:20 UTC

I thought it was remekabltnlivht for a BE

2018-12-06 01:51:34 UTC

This ain't the 80s

2018-12-06 01:53:58 UTC

Remarkably light. That’s average spelling for me on a smartphone btw

2018-12-06 01:54:09 UTC

But I can’t wait to see how the Bren is.

2018-12-06 02:34:09 UTC

FN is mighty proud of those SCARs

2018-12-06 02:34:34 UTC

I like gucci guns but there’s no fuckin way I’m paying $2700 for a SCAR

2018-12-06 02:34:46 UTC

They aren't even that gucci imo
