Otherwise no way
Eh, you would still have to worry about dictators and such
madmen
But if somehow (BIG IF) that dictator legitimately had the people's best interest in mind
It would work
I liked the old Roman republic idea of 2 men in power. That way something big would have to change the government. Garacci brothers style.
(I do ancient history btw)
Yes but a person's life only lasta so long
and the heir might be worse
They get elected.
The republic not empire.
Hitler and Stallin got elected
lol
lololololoolololololol
I think that in order for an true utopia to happen the heart of man would have to change drastically
Hitler got elected through tough times. Stalin after war.
It's instability that breeds chaos
From what have experienced... The heart of man is naturally evil so this is very unlikely
Fascism is the true utopia
I think the heart of man is shaped by his enviorment
I'm unsure
oh my lord
His dad was abusive, he was inbred, his lived in an anti-semetic city and became a megalomaniac when in power.
So I would agree the environment shapes the personality.
Give a man anonymity and power over others and they will turn rotten to the core
That's why governments have restrictions. Ones that would need to restrict a leaders power. To give him something to fear and grow with, not against.

This is why I'm federalist
Capitalism was less selfish during the cold war because it wanted less communism and so it needed to be careful in the public eye.
And this is a where the paradox lies
Give power to a man and he will become corrupt, distribut the power amongst multiple men and they will fight
There is no perfect balance
Yes
Remember the two Egyptian siblings this was tryed with
Ummmm
Let me get the name
A boy and a girl
Basically they ended up dividing Egypt in two and turned it into a war zone
Eventually the girl one and ceased full power
