i explored tor early on ....then found out it was the platform to be on for everything illegal
freenet was a safer alternative but that also soon became corrupted

I wouldn’t recommend giving them anything other than a warning. Let them ask for the instructions. I didn’t know what Tor was and when I heard, decided I didn’t want to deal with it. FastJack didn’t send people there (at least not in here) - he just pointed out that it’s now working for those on Tor, no?
well freenet didn't have serious issues til they started to trade pedo stuff on it..then everybody on freenet could be arrested because every freenet user was a router for everybody else and up to 80% of ur cache is encrypted routing between users
its going to get ugly thats all. with tor installed your computer can now launch any onion site. in other words trolls will leave onion links in chan posts. unsuspecting folks will click and go places they shouldnt be.

majority of those 'darknet' sites in the news the feds just so happened to raid(they already raided it months or yrs back, ur just now finding out about it)...are on tor
so even visitors to such sites even if it's by accident or somebody shared a bad link...can be traced back to any user on tor

theres lower domains than tor
aside from going straight ftp or other connections. it is the dark browser
use a good spider and u can find even the darkest domain hidden even on the surface web
it either has an encypted ip or stealthy ip not listed on dns servers
the really interesting thing is the domain network between the deep and dark web is the domain where banking transactions happen
also where crypto happens as well
tor is fine just dont go to unknown tor urls
