spent the early morning hrs washing a floor, moving stuff and pissing off field mice with fresh glue traps

2019-11-20 05:48:47 UTC

I think got all my mice out of the house 6 in traps 7th empty

2019-11-20 05:50:31 UTC

well some of the mice are jumping over the traps....some mice jump on top of the kitchen table...friend saw one jump straight up to the table from the floor.

2019-11-20 05:51:08 UTC

i thing is i can't bait them because then the glue traps will trap the dog

2019-11-20 05:52:05 UTC

Old cereal boxes work to hold the traps

2019-11-20 05:52:05 UTC

so the best thing i can do is to reduce the pathways size for them then layer glue traps to a point where they can't jump over them effectively

2019-11-20 05:52:21 UTC

old cereal boxes are dog's domain

2019-11-20 05:52:58 UTC

he has 'lickies' rights

2019-11-20 05:53:54 UTC

the only counter to crickets unfortunately ...is mice

2019-11-20 05:54:05 UTC

unless u want to bomb the house

2019-11-20 05:54:48 UTC

most of the bombs i use now are peroxide or chlorine bombs

2019-11-20 05:55:16 UTC

those water based or oil pesticides don't work much anymore

2019-11-20 05:55:24 UTC

Snap traps with peanut butter and a pumpkin seed on top...works all the time

2019-11-20 05:55:42 UTC

kiwi, they become dog traps if i do that

2019-11-20 05:55:58 UTC

dog is a peanut butter addict

2019-11-20 05:56:36 UTC

Hide them, behind things, make a box?

2019-11-20 05:57:07 UTC

Lure them

2019-11-20 05:58:12 UTC

anyway...going to do some further cleaning later on tonight...still got more traps to put around ...and hope the dog doesn't find them

2019-11-20 05:58:28 UTC

Dog training

2019-11-20 05:58:49 UTC

Thank you @Staff Member & @WildMan . Trying to grab articles before they got slid too far.....

2019-11-20 05:58:51 UTC

One thing that may work is to take a three inch round pvc pipe, Cut some openings for the mice to enter, Have the the traps inside at a point in the pipe, that can be open or unlatched. (a cut area that has been clamped shut) The traps could be removed after the mice run through the pipe

2019-11-20 06:00:05 UTC

4 inch drain pipe is cheap

2019-11-20 06:01:25 UTC

thinking of going with plastic or metal food cans ....and put traps inside them at the base with baited food

2019-11-20 06:01:41 UTC

so when the mice jump in to get the food, they get trapped

2019-11-20 06:02:11 UTC

its based upon the idea of a 1/2 bucket of lard in open in a barn

2019-11-20 06:02:55 UTC

soft lard in the summer apparently traps dozens of field mice cause they can't swim thru it

2019-11-20 06:04:38 UTC

house mate gets these big containers of protein mix and puts them out for recycling, i'll just salvage 1 or 2 and install glue traps inside them with the lid off

2019-11-20 06:05:07 UTC

and hide them in a few corners of the house where nobody really goes to anymore

2019-11-20 06:06:10 UTC

btw, mice prefer skippy over jif

2019-11-20 06:06:31 UTC

and so do i...because jif is just very bitter to my tastes

2019-11-20 06:09:08 UTC

"i suggest everybody start studying medicine and herbal alternatives to big pharma ...because the doctors and big pharma are lying to u" for 45 years now, yep

2019-11-20 06:09:59 UTC

wildman, they've been doing it since they first banned weed

2019-11-20 06:10:48 UTC

No saying I've been personally studying it myself for that long

2019-11-20 06:10:55 UTC

but now that they gmo'd weed...they're making it legal again

2019-11-20 06:12:06 UTC

ya...u think the stuff they sell is good for u....think again..they most likely took out the good stuff and replaced with some bad stuff and kept in the stuff that makes u stoned

2019-11-20 06:12:43 UTC

if u can find some growing wild....harvest and start growing ur own once it's legal to do so in ur area

2019-11-20 06:13:32 UTC

if any version of weed can be cross bred with hemp then it's a safe weed...because they used to be 1 plant
