ISIS recruited an Iraqi scientist to develop a chemical weapons program. It was successful, resulting in enough chem weapons to stage over 50 attacks in Iraq and Syria. In 2016 this program was moved to Syria. Keep this in mind when war hawks in government and the media blame the Syrian government . These weapons are held by the “rebels“.
