Them workouts were brutal

2019-02-20 22:19:06 UTC

Lifting for yourself is a beautiful thing

2019-02-20 22:19:39 UTC

When I started lifting for myself I changed my expectations. I no longer wanted to massively bulk up and instead wanted the tone figure of ancient Greek statues

2019-02-20 22:20:05 UTC

My body was hand chiseled by GAWD

2019-02-20 22:20:06 UTC

Yes, it's the most beautiful thing you can do as a man. If you cultivate your body naturally, you'll get so much respect it's insane. You need to do it for yourself though. At some point the Halo effect will make your life a lot easier. The extra energy and better looks makes your dating life easier, but don't use it as crutch.

2019-02-20 22:20:10 UTC

My close friend said he would only be motivated to work out if he had expensive workout clothes, compression stuff, etc. I told him his priorities were off and he said "I don't care what you think." People do 0 research and/or are dumb about exercise

2019-02-20 22:20:27 UTC

Yeah the halo effect is a real thing

2019-02-20 22:20:39 UTC

For jobs, friendships, dating, productivity

2019-02-20 22:21:00 UTC

I've never had skinny fat I've always been lean

2019-02-20 22:21:34 UTC

It's funny how most people start lifting for shallow reasons, or because they are unconfident. The guys who stick to it for 10 years, find that they keep training for completely other reasons by the end of it and they are the ones who actually cash in on it.

2019-02-20 22:22:29 UTC

I want to get fit to have a healthier better feeling body

2019-02-20 22:22:32 UTC

Hahhahaha.

2019-02-20 22:22:37 UTC

I bet.

2019-02-20 22:22:38 UTC

And an easier workload

2019-02-20 22:22:56 UTC

Cuz more fitness means less physical struggle

2019-02-20 22:23:35 UTC

If I was over 6' I would be in the gym daily and forcing my way into modeling/acting agencies

2019-02-20 22:23:48 UTC

You can still do porn.

2019-02-20 22:24:12 UTC

The tiny penis makes porn difficult

2019-02-20 22:24:21 UTC

Oh so 6" was the penis size

2019-02-20 22:24:25 UTC

Sorr

2019-02-20 22:24:25 UTC

y

2019-02-20 22:24:33 UTC

Lel

2019-02-20 22:24:46 UTC

Anyone here who does a lot of cardio?

2019-02-20 22:25:05 UTC

I *did* a lot of cardio

2019-02-20 22:25:08 UTC

What are the effects of it on your energy levels?

2019-02-20 22:25:19 UTC

Running away from cops puts your blood pumping

2019-02-20 22:26:35 UTC

It was hypothetical anyway. I'll never be over 6'

2019-02-20 22:27:13 UTC

I can maybe go for a workout on Saturday morning only cuz 5 - 5 job, is that good enough?

2019-02-20 22:27:38 UTC

Anything is better than nothing, but that's probably not ideal

2019-02-20 22:27:49 UTC

<@430414946023505941> I'm also a fan of stronglifts 5x5. That's how I was able to squat insane amounts

2019-02-20 22:28:35 UTC

Now it's probably max 120KG (haven't really tried. It used to be max 190-200kg

2019-02-20 22:29:07 UTC

Those are the perks of being a manlet though 😃

2019-02-20 22:30:02 UTC

Manlets like us have that one perk

2019-02-20 22:30:28 UTC

Does working I freight for 10 hrs a day count as a workout

2019-02-20 22:30:30 UTC

wow neat polish conversation

2019-02-20 22:31:25 UTC

whats the convo in here

2019-02-20 22:31:30 UTC

Yes <@430414946023505941> I'm still the strongest guy walking around the gym. Feels pretty good. Doesn't have any other perks though besides respect.

2019-02-20 22:32:38 UTC

Yes, but I don't like bragging

2019-02-20 22:32:57 UTC

Most people wouldn't expect me to be some nerd while lifting this hard. It's weird.

2019-02-20 22:33:58 UTC

Hmm.

2019-02-20 22:34:06 UTC

What are you talking about?
