Nietzsche was an incel who was full of himself

2018-07-21 19:19:07 UTC

his writings are simply a more eloquent way of saying "don't tell me what to do, mom"

2018-07-21 19:19:21 UTC

Pretty bad argument

2018-07-21 19:19:37 UTC

As if you've made a single good argument.

2018-07-21 19:20:10 UTC

So you haven't read "the antichrist" then

2018-07-21 19:20:25 UTC

Why should I?

2018-07-21 19:20:42 UTC

It's a criticism of christianity.

2018-07-21 19:20:51 UTC

Was western civilization built by Nietzschianism?

2018-07-21 19:20:59 UTC

You said they've all been addressed

2018-07-21 19:21:15 UTC

What are they then?

2018-07-21 19:21:56 UTC

For one, it's very nihilistic. What happens in this world doesn't matter as much as individual salvation

2018-07-21 19:22:19 UTC

Let's wait Thomas

2018-07-21 19:22:26 UTC

And Nietzsche isn't nihilistic?

2018-07-21 19:22:34 UTC

Until we have each one

2018-07-21 19:22:40 UTC

he isn't actually

2018-07-21 19:22:41 UTC

Stop with the adhom

2018-07-21 19:23:03 UTC

Anything else?

2018-07-21 19:23:04 UTC

He rails against nihilism in it

2018-07-21 19:23:38 UTC

It doesn't matter how often you sin as long as you repent and believe, you are saved

2018-07-21 19:24:02 UTC

Anything else?

2018-07-21 19:24:43 UTC

I mean, ya. It's not a long book, but there's more in it than I've written here

2018-07-21 19:24:55 UTC

the problem is that the repentance and belief has to be sincere for it to matter. you can't just use it as a get out of jail free card.

2018-07-21 19:25:23 UTC

If those are the only 2 then it is my turn to respond.

2018-07-21 19:25:40 UTC

Yes please respond. That's what I'm waiting on lol

2018-07-21 19:27:34 UTC

It's still a problematic idea. It's like, i can kill someone but as long as I'm truly sorry, it's ok. That's kinda bizarre, because it's not like your thoughts in your own head are truly making up for the sin you committed

2018-07-21 19:27:56 UTC

repentance isn't just feeling sorry about it

2018-07-21 19:28:51 UTC

Pretty much though. You might pray and stuff but it's not like you have to go out into reality and actually address your crime.

2018-07-21 19:29:57 UTC

1.- We start on this life until we may finally join with God ie: Pure actuality, as such our actions on this life shapes our soul (intelect) which after being free from human emotion will continue on and we will decide to be with him or not. It cannot be nihilistic since it Is very clear our actions matter for the life after.

2018-07-21 19:31:54 UTC

2.-Even if you repent and are forgiven you will be punished (not as severely as if you had not) we see examples with the prodical son who after wasting all his money lived like a beggar. And also purgatory.

2018-07-21 19:33:09 UTC

Your actions only matter in that it determines what the afterlife will be. So, it's as if what happens on earth doesn't matter, since this world is temporary.

2018-07-21 19:34:07 UTC

Does it not matter what grades you have in high school when you are aplying to college?

2018-07-21 19:35:31 UTC

Rather than excell in this world, the idea is to prepare for the afterlife. So, you can easily cop out of reality. And Christians do. Why try to make the world better when all you need to do is be faithful to Jesus and you'll be saved for eternity?

2018-07-21 19:35:56 UTC

I'm not trying to convert anyone. Just don't be fags about paganism

2018-07-21 19:35:57 UTC

Answer the question

2018-07-21 19:36:04 UTC

Fag

2018-07-21 19:36:23 UTC

>pagan calling someone else a fag

2018-07-21 19:36:33 UTC

penis

2018-07-21 19:36:50 UTC

I said just don't be fags about paganism. Not calling you a fag

2018-07-21 19:37:16 UTC

And I said answer the question.

2018-07-21 19:37:35 UTC

Why don't you just make your point?

2018-07-21 19:37:35 UTC

the implication that we were being fags about this. i.e. you're calling us fags. I don't mind it, but have the nuts to own up to it
