An actual degree in Agriculture is VERY different to a missionary showing you how to do something.

Take the San out of the reservations and put them through farming school

It's hard in South Africa and Haiti. These people think this shit happens by magic. They have no understanding or appreciation of how much thought and work actually goes into maintaining a farm in those places.

Most people in the west don't either.

Because they've been told by their leaders that the farmers just sit around and get rich

Farming is a specialist, and under-appreciated skillset.

It happened in Zimbabwe a while ago, but no one wanted to learn those lessons.

I have no sympathy for people who steal and murder, then starve as a consequence. However, these people are also condemning innocent children to the same fate.
