They are paving the way for us

He teamed up with an engineer and now fosscaders can buy actual PEEK capable printers for cheap.

In my mind the most exciting thing about 3d printed guns is their potential to make any gun control legislation a moot point.
In Cali, they are going after the ammo.
Those are probably easier to make than a gun. Building your own foundry is pretty easy, and bullets and associated materials aren't big.
Cartridge extrusion, however, is not easy.
(Not easy to set up at least.)
If you already reload casting your own bullets isnt that difficult. The problem is the cases themselves
Primers as well 🤔
You could stock pile them but if you're already doing that may as well just buy up rounds
Lead Styphnate and especially Lead Azide are not particularly easy to make.
