There is already so much porn that that would do nothing to stem whatever problems it causes, but what it would do is force women to bear children constantly if they wanted to keep working in the industry.
I would also point out I posted that in shitposting
I was initially willing to overlook that public display of lust for power over women's bodies, even though it sounded like a speech from some character in a feminist screed.
You do make a good point about the existing porn.
But now you start talking about becoming like antifa for the sake of winning, and I see no disgusted introspection. No "Wait a minute, what the fuck am I thinking?", just apparent desire to do any foul deed for the sake of victory.
It is strange.
It seems as I age I become more and more bloodthirsty.
I used to think that the left was truly the most repulsive at the moment, now that they have power.
But it seems that even when the time is ripe to grab hold of those lofty principles of liberty and justice, the right cannot fucking help itself.
They cannot help but be just as repulsive.
Even when it undermines them.
Even when its the perfect ammunition for censorious leftists just at the worst possible time.
I think the neocons soured a lot of people on the "Work together moral superiority thing."
lol
Only neocons believe in liberty.
Working together in moral superiority is SO hard when the people you have to be superior to are supporters of terrorists, and hate the constitution.
If you can't even manage being superior to that you deserve to lose.
Luckily, most Trump supporters don't seem to be on board with the "anything to win" ideal, and were still not when they won in 2016.
But god damn, it's amazing what even the faintest vapours of power do to people.
I do wish things were less divisive.
Though, it seems that its ending up a dividing of opinion between a growing majority who don't trust them, and a shrinking minority who do.
Once again, I hope you're right.
...
These are just polls.
This is worth thinking about.
Personal theory is all this is happening because the internet became a thing. Demonstrating how important a mostly deregulated and semi anonymous space is. However, it's on its way to full lockdown, and once that happens it will be lefty business as usual. I don't have a lot of hope the censorious left is going to get it's way no matter what. In order to stop it we'd have to create an entirely new financial infastructure, and that's not happening.
I'm not even sure that would be legal.
I'm not a finance man.
These are not my original thoughts, but many polls taken that concord with each other.
Oh yeah, they're clamping down on the net.
Bill Maher mentioned Alex Jones getting censored, and looked absolutely fucking horrified at the applause that resulted.
He's a bit tinfoil but I like that he actually held to his principles.
He's also the guy who wants an economic collapse to happen so that Trump doesn't get a second term.
But I do have to give him credit for staying at least somewhat alligned to his stated principles. Not that the bar's been set particularly high for that sort of thing on either side.
I find his still holding onto principles whilst delving deep into the depths of leftist lunacy truly impressive @Dinosorcerer.
I don't know. I'm kind of wary of people like Maher and frankly any one of these other TV political personalities, Tucker Carlson included. Even if they aren't lying about their true political positions (as I suspect many of them are) their whole public presence has to be at least in part molded to achieve ratings over anything else. They'll invite people on who they know are weaker debaters so that they can steamroll them and validate their audience. In the short term, this nets them a strong following, in the long term, it causes them to lose their edge, lets them get stupid ideas in their head without second guessing themselves because somebody hasn't shown them what defeat feels like in a while.
