So a lot of his work was basically getting as close as you could to choking someone to death without actually doing it.

2018-07-20 03:37:28 UTC

damn liquid food status

2018-07-20 03:37:42 UTC

he was the one that decided what kind of food someone could safely eat.

2018-07-20 03:38:00 UTC

That was his job. that and teaching them to talk again. If they were lucky.

2018-07-20 03:38:18 UTC

But that wore on him, and he was not pleasent to be around growing up. Unfortunatly.

But he almost died a couple times, and now he works with kids. Those things improved his mood significantly. The kids love him, and they have a much better prognosis for recovery.

2018-07-20 03:39:28 UTC

i could def see that not being a good job for mental health

2018-07-20 03:40:37 UTC

Right before he quit nursing home work there was a bad flu outbreak at the nursing home he was working at. 50% fatalities.

2018-07-20 03:40:54 UTC

the company literally had greif counselors on site for the employees.

2018-07-20 03:40:59 UTC

thats some black pilled shit

2018-07-20 03:41:20 UTC

almost died how

2018-07-20 03:41:36 UTC

A really bad heart attack, which he made a complete recovery from.

2018-07-20 03:41:41 UTC

oh

2018-07-20 03:41:48 UTC

i thought you meant patients tried to kill him

2018-07-20 03:42:21 UTC

Folowed a couple years later by a MRSA infection in his lungs (he never smoked, but has the lungs of a chain smoking coal miner anyway)

2018-07-20 03:42:34 UTC

zombies bro

2018-07-20 03:42:41 UTC

zombies

2018-07-20 03:42:57 UTC

((((the flu)))))

2018-07-20 03:43:09 UTC

I mean before the infection he had bad lungs. They thought they were going to have to remove one of them at one point, but then they didn't need to.

2018-07-20 03:43:25 UTC

Before he was even 55. But he's been good since then.

2018-07-20 03:43:50 UTC

Though he looked like a walking corpse for my bro's wedding (six weeks after the heart attack)

2018-07-20 03:44:09 UTC

Second scariest thing I've been though in my adult life.

2018-07-20 03:44:29 UTC

for sure broham

2018-07-20 03:44:47 UTC

seeing a love one suffer is bad

2018-07-20 03:45:28 UTC

Yeah, but he made a remarkable recover. Doctors told him that if it wasn't in his chart they wouldn't believe he had a heart attack.

2018-07-20 03:46:53 UTC

hell yea

2018-07-20 03:47:28 UTC

Though on the topic of his work almost killing him. Because he works with folks who are one way or another, young or old, not all there mentally. It is not considered a good idea for men in his line of work to wear long sleves. or a tie.

2018-07-20 03:48:59 UTC

oh?

2018-07-20 03:49:20 UTC

Last story about his work. Back when he was in private practice I was working for him. (this was decades ago) This guy came in who would not stop talking about his experiences in Vietnam. He seemed to be mostly fine, but refrenced everything back to Vietnam.

2018-07-20 03:49:57 UTC

lost my prostate in NAM

2018-07-20 03:50:01 UTC

He was seeing my dad for a TBI related to falling off his roof.

2018-07-20 03:50:10 UTC

So here's the thing.

2018-07-20 03:50:13 UTC

too a vitvongo hooker

2018-07-20 03:50:31 UTC

He was in his thirties (in the 90's).

2018-07-20 03:50:39 UTC

This guy had never even BEEN to vietnam.

2018-07-20 03:51:07 UTC

lolllllllllllllll

2018-07-20 03:51:29 UTC

The only thing more amazing than the human brain is all the horrible things that can go wrong with it.

2018-07-20 03:52:04 UTC

>tfw your also a 29 year old vietnam vets as well in 2018

2018-07-20 03:54:33 UTC

At least he wasn't some stolen valor guy. He really thought he'd beenn in vietnam.

2018-07-20 03:54:53 UTC

That would actually be a good supporting character for a movie/tv show.
