@BellaDashwood Ohio has sued the top 5 pharma companies for "fueling opiod epidemic"
no kidding @YUGE
what are your thoughts
yea tucker had the ohio AG on tonight
oh the authoritarian meme page is specifically called egregiously authoritatiran european australian memes
how can it be the pharmacies aault, they get orders and fill them and collect the payment
authoritarian*
I think you could make an argument around medical malpractice
ok cool
against the doctor
oh, dude
do you not know how pharma works?
docs get huge kickbacks for moving drugs
but unless there was illegal selling of pharms or prescriptions falsified at the pharmacy, it seems crazy to me
i do
collusion
docs are culpable too
but pharma is pushing all of it
lol i was chatting about how i was probably going to end up working for them next year if i cant help findind something better in the other server earlier
i know how the industry works well
I think you could make an argument implicating the producers based on how they move product
its fucked how doctors are compensated for what chemicals go into peoples bodies
the docs certainly are not innocent
yeah the producers i know are evil
i just mean the pharmacies themselves unless directly doing something have to do it
they aren't really getting into the details
but they obviously think they have a case if they brought the suit
yeah
who specificially are they suing in it?
i havent read about this
it just said the top 5 pharma companies
you remember what happened to the tobacco companies in the 90s, right?
I imagine ohio is making a similar argument
I hope they crush those drug pushers
i do like the subtleness in this one https://i.gyazo.com/fff0373f959a3ff0adf7fe33b924b683.png
Oh okay @YUGE im down for them fucking over the drug pushing fucks
and thanks @Campin' Carl ill pass the word along to my mates
they basically made the argument that big tobacco was knowingly pushing tobacco on people and they held some responsibility for deaths caused by tobacco, and forced them to set up multi-billion dollar trusts and stop advertising and stuff
so yea, I think this could actually lead to something
