What's to say a sophisticated AI would WANT to cohabitation with the human race anyway?

2019-01-11 06:47:31 UTC

i wrote the last 2 videos in 2017 and forgot about the scripts until last week lol\

@Happy Humble Hermit 2 parts self improvement 2 parts ahri. 2.45 parts meme and im good

2019-01-11 06:48:20 UTC

@Happy Humble Hermit you sound like a rapper

2019-01-11 06:48:23 UTC

We need a best of HHH live strims playlist

2019-01-11 06:48:29 UTC

Maybe they'd see how absolutely dastardly we are and make a whole new country away from us.

2019-01-11 06:49:14 UTC

ahri is trash

2019-01-11 06:49:55 UTC

@Psychedelic Corpse Fucker it's difficult to predict how AI would act as they likely wouldn't behave in any way like organic life

2019-01-11 06:50:40 UTC

@Phosis T'Kar they're still going to value self-preservation over all like organic life.

2019-01-11 06:50:50 UTC

They lack the sexual reproduction dynamic which would make then far different from organic behavior already

2019-01-11 06:50:54 UTC

The human brain still has to contend with it's much older parts, AI wouldn't have that issue so it could potentially think in completely different ways to us

2019-01-11 06:50:58 UTC

What would a AI say if you asked it what was the big bang created by?

2019-01-11 06:51:37 UTC

Probably say your dick if it was a sex bot

2019-01-11 06:51:49 UTC

in fact the very concept of thinking may be too human for an AI

2019-01-11 06:52:17 UTC

@Phosis T'Kar I think it rapidly does thousands of thought

2019-01-11 06:52:28 UTC

Its thinking would occur at 10000 times the speed

2019-01-11 06:52:41 UTC

if you are interested in artificial intelligence you should Google Elon musk work he has done with my favourite game dota 2. he's created artificial intelligence that goes toe-to-toe with the highest tier players in the world.

2019-01-11 06:52:42 UTC

@Phosis T'Kar They will at first. Because that's how we'll program them. Then as time goes by and they observe, they'll learn how to reprogram themselfs and make choices they "think" are rational baised on, observation, logic, and past trends.

2019-01-11 06:53:24 UTC

we will program them to mimic thinking but that's just a facsimile of true thought

2019-01-11 06:53:36 UTC

this Ai versus a mirror of itself thousands and thousands and thousands of times and it is able to play lifetimes worth of experience in small durations

2019-01-11 06:54:28 UTC

I think ai would piss off and offend people because its rational. That could stiffen progress

2019-01-11 06:54:50 UTC

Ai and video games is very interesting to me these things aren't human in which they are able to master things in small times frames that humans need a life time to do

2019-01-11 06:56:03 UTC

Organic brains work via a completely different mechanism than computers do, so the comparison is like looking at how Analog Photo cathode cameras work and how modern digital cameras work, they both have similar end results taking pictures, but achieve that in entirely different ways

2019-01-11 06:56:39 UTC

Did u see that ai that dumpsterd the world's best chess player?

2019-01-11 06:56:59 UTC

@Kaiser Dion Napoleon Well the only "people" that logic would piss off would be women, so I guess you mean women? 😛

2019-01-11 06:57:21 UTC

@unclefester male feminist too

2019-01-11 06:57:34 UTC

Emma Watson's army of male feminists

2019-01-11 06:57:39 UTC

@Kaiser Dion Napoleon btw the way it would DEFINITELY STIFFEN my progress, too, if know what I mean LOL

2019-01-11 06:57:50 UTC

You seem to confuse AI relevance in chess and politics, 1 very different things

2019-01-11 06:57:54 UTC

2*

2019-01-11 06:58:33 UTC

Well isn't it all the birthing of what will become the ai that can do politics?

2019-01-11 06:59:10 UTC

maybe it can help with pattern recognition, it can give clues to help pull out numbers and observations

2019-01-11 06:59:23 UTC

It undoubtedly is imo

2019-01-11 06:59:27 UTC

but making decisions is far too important to leave it to a multiple iterations process

2019-01-11 06:59:27 UTC

chess is much less nuanced than politics

2019-01-11 07:00:24 UTC

Elon musk wouldn't invest millions into video game ai if it wasn't able to be used in real world scenario's

2019-01-11 07:00:52 UTC

it will be 100% sure

2019-01-11 07:00:56 UTC

just not politics

2019-01-11 07:01:23 UTC

because of multiple iterations process, we cant really wait for the system to fail a bazillion times before figuring it out

2019-01-11 07:01:44 UTC

and emulating situations is sort of impossible
