do one for a bit, then learn submissions

2019-01-12 00:10:31 UTC

I know a few guys who did both wrestling and BJJ

2019-01-12 00:10:40 UTC

they compliment each other well

@GingerSnaps @Unknowncrash you can watch countless "streetfighting" videos on youtube, after one person fails to knockout the other, they always end up in a sloppy tie up, that's where grappling prevails:

@GingerSnaps there is a pretty cheap set of push up bars you can buy called perfect push ups, they are super useful too

2019-01-12 00:11:50 UTC

@Reaper i've heard that. My one buddy has them.

2019-01-12 00:12:31 UTC

Don't most people who run into trouble on the streets have to deal with at least 2-3 people at the same time?

2019-01-12 00:12:31 UTC

Good stuff

2019-01-12 00:12:35 UTC

or more

2019-01-12 00:13:06 UTC

that rarely happens

2019-01-12 00:13:17 UTC

and if it does, generally you see it coming, just leave

2019-01-12 00:13:43 UTC

@GingerSnaps I like them cause you can simulate twisting your wrist like you would with a punch as you lift yourself

2019-01-12 00:15:33 UTC

i've seen them in action before. My biggest problem right now is motivation. I have almost no motivation for anything. I just sit on youtube and either soak up red pill stuff or auto mechanic stuff.

2019-01-12 00:16:05 UTC

@GingerSnaps I'd say find some gym and go no matter how much you have to force yourself

2019-01-12 00:16:11 UTC

that's what i need to do

2019-01-12 00:16:19 UTC

and I love working out

2019-01-12 00:16:30 UTC

But getting to the gym can be hard to do for me

2019-01-12 00:16:43 UTC

@Sigma that's probably a good idea. Usually when i have to pay for something i'm motivated to get my money's worth.

2019-01-12 00:17:21 UTC

@Sigma yeah i was never a physically active person. Probably a big reason why i washed out of the military.

2019-01-12 00:17:34 UTC

@GingerSnaps I love mechanic shit too

2019-01-12 00:17:36 UTC

@GingerSnaps i couldn't even pass tape or fitness

2019-01-12 00:17:43 UTC

so at least you got in

2019-01-12 00:17:45 UTC

:/

2019-01-12 00:17:47 UTC

Home isn't really a good place to work out. It's doable, but for me I have a mental association of home for crashing and have free time

2019-01-12 00:18:33 UTC

@Sigma like i can't honestly say that i enjoy working out. I like doing it high though, it enhances the work out and enhances my high. Yeah that makes sense. Maybe that's my problem as well.

2019-01-12 00:18:43 UTC

A home gym in the basement could be a good way to go if you're able to do it

2019-01-12 00:19:29 UTC

physically going somewhere to do shit is better, just gotta pay fees

2019-01-12 00:19:45 UTC

@Reaper I enjoy it, but i'm mostly studying to give me a leg up for when i start school since i'm going for auto mechanics.

2019-01-12 00:20:33 UTC

after a while of being consistent in the gym, you start to love it

2019-01-12 00:20:48 UTC

sometimes you can be obsessed with making gains

2019-01-12 00:21:05 UTC

It takes at least 2-3 months to really start to enjoy it

2019-01-12 00:21:06 UTC

@GingerSnaps nice, when do you start?

2019-01-12 00:21:13 UTC

have fun eating unseasoned chicken and broccoli

2019-01-12 00:21:14 UTC

especially if you're on a good program

2019-01-12 00:21:15 UTC

D:

2019-01-12 00:21:37 UTC

i'll look into a gym membership. My area has a ton of fitness businesses. @Reaper if everything goes right fall 2019 semester.

2019-01-12 00:21:54 UTC

just starting out with the gym is a challenge at first, but it's really a habit building process

2019-01-12 00:22:15 UTC

@GingerSnaps nice, good luck man

2019-01-12 00:22:19 UTC

real talk though, wear a rash guard and wipe everything down before and after you use it though

2019-01-12 00:22:28 UTC

i've seen too many people get ringworm from gyms
