Both really
If you have the time for it
@°°° @Unknowncrash yeah i can see that. A good throw will knock the wind out of your opponent and that gives you all the time you need to scramble out of there. @Reaper yeah that will be my next exercise equipment purchase a mountable lift bar for my door way to do pull ups and shit.
Thanks
do one for a bit, then learn submissions
I know a few guys who did both wrestling and BJJ
they compliment each other well
@GingerSnaps @Unknowncrash you can watch countless "streetfighting" videos on youtube, after one person fails to knockout the other, they always end up in a sloppy tie up, that's where grappling prevails:

@GingerSnaps there is a pretty cheap set of push up bars you can buy called perfect push ups, they are super useful too
@Reaper i've heard that. My one buddy has them.
Don't most people who run into trouble on the streets have to deal with at least 2-3 people at the same time?
Good stuff
or more
that rarely happens
and if it does, generally you see it coming, just leave
@GingerSnaps I like them cause you can simulate twisting your wrist like you would with a punch as you lift yourself
i've seen them in action before. My biggest problem right now is motivation. I have almost no motivation for anything. I just sit on youtube and either soak up red pill stuff or auto mechanic stuff.
@GingerSnaps I'd say find some gym and go no matter how much you have to force yourself
that's what i need to do
and I love working out
@Sigma that's probably a good idea. Usually when i have to pay for something i'm motivated to get my money's worth.
@Sigma yeah i was never a physically active person. Probably a big reason why i washed out of the military.
@GingerSnaps I love mechanic shit too
@GingerSnaps i couldn't even pass tape or fitness
so at least you got in
:/
Home isn't really a good place to work out. It's doable, but for me I have a mental association of home for crashing and have free time
@Sigma like i can't honestly say that i enjoy working out. I like doing it high though, it enhances the work out and enhances my high. Yeah that makes sense. Maybe that's my problem as well.
A home gym in the basement could be a good way to go if you're able to do it
physically going somewhere to do shit is better, just gotta pay fees
@Reaper I enjoy it, but i'm mostly studying to give me a leg up for when i start school since i'm going for auto mechanics.
after a while of being consistent in the gym, you start to love it
sometimes you can be obsessed with making gains
It takes at least 2-3 months to really start to enjoy it
@GingerSnaps nice, when do you start?
have fun eating unseasoned chicken and broccoli
especially if you're on a good program
D:
i'll look into a gym membership. My area has a ton of fitness businesses. @Reaper if everything goes right fall 2019 semester.
just starting out with the gym is a challenge at first, but it's really a habit building process
