I will try to keep this short.
Before I was willing to get a doll I had to deal with the religion of sex (borrowed from Stardusk). Or that I assumed the sex I was not getting was likely to be better than the doll I could get.

I agree with many of the cons with their idea and even have them noted in my word document on the subject.
The problem with your better strategy is that I don't think it works. Just telling a guy a fleshlight is better than the real thing, even if it is and even if it is with reasons (lower risks, focusing on his own enjoyment over hers) is just like telling a catholic there is no god and here is why etcetc...
