It blows my mind how fucking can be legal at 16 in one state, and illegal in the adjacent state

And 16 in most US states though federaly, the age of consent in the US is 12. Thats the youngest any state may set it and 18 the highest any state can set it.

(and 12 would be the age if a state set none i think)
