I got a new job. Application, phone call, interview, and hired all in the same day.
I've seen a lot of trans Chinese through like random gifs and stuff online.
I guess it's getting there, so it might benefit you later on.
possibly
Excellent work though with the new job
You're kind of stuck in the West.
Yeah. My wages are kind of sucky, though. A fraction of what I'm used to, but my current company is dissolving, so... What can you do, aye?!
NDT is getting more popular. You could look into that. A lot of NDT techs charge AUD 150 per hour.
Sup everyone?
Sup.
Any good books you guys recommend? Right now I'm reading Body Language by Navarro and I'm waiting for Robert Greene's new book called Human Nature
The Laws of Human Nature
Robert Greene has a new book
I'm excited for it
Um Miyaomoto Musashi, The Book of 5 Rings
I actually have that book
Or Letters from a Stoic by Marcus Aurelius
Nice choices
Theres Mastery by Robert Greene. The Minimalist Mindset by Danny Dover
On Minimalism by Fumio Sasaki
I used to do Martial arts, So I ordered the Book of Five Rings and there was another book called Warrior Mind
I recently finished Mastery, I loved that book
The 50th Law was excellent too
When I started reading The Book of Five Rings, I found it hard to digest at the time. The Writing was really concise and dense
that's true
there's an annotated version though
I'll look into that one
with footnotes
I'll find the translator for that edition
Minimalism sounds cool
I'm thinking about getting a small house when I get enough money and a job to be able to fully support myself
I don't know about renting out a studio apartment, it would be hard to save money that way. Rent is expensive
i think there is healthy minimalism, for example i have a nice car, but i dont eat expensive and such
Kenji Tokitsu's edited edition
Published by Shamballa
I want to get the book of five rings too @Sigma @the adventures male also recommends it
rent is expensive and set to inflate in the future. At least in some of the Australian market
How about Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu
If you are guaranteed a life of wealth, then rent is better because you are flexible, otherwise i agree to you
I got the Tao Te Ching as well, haven't finished it
I just ordered an annotated copy of Five Rings
