So I thought burring myself in my craft would bring me satisfaction.
@DingleberryPie Wow, that is very cool. I work in infosec and a coworker, penetration tester, is a lockpicker in his free time.
It seems very cool! It seems hard to make a lot of money though...
My favorite thing to learn was eeprom work.
I taught my self how to micro solder and manipulate code. I primarily work on vehicles and the only way to program transponders for European cars is directly through the computer.
I got alot of satisfaction out training and teaching my employees.
Wow, that is badass my dude. So you're an obdii beast?
Hm.... HHH, there's something that I wanted to ask you for some time.... How strong is your fatherhood desire?
Hermit I greatly admire the fact that you want to be a teacher. Young men today have little chance in awakening.
I live desoldering 64 leg eepeoms and 8 leg and putting them into a rig an manipulating the data.
So I can say I read code, because I just use programs that changes or extrats my target data. I can look at a bin file and tell you it's complete.
I personally would like to get into mentoring or teaching.
That has provided me with the most satisfaction/sense of purpose.
Now I just get frustrated because i expected the one guy I trained to be able to take one more responsibility and he has proven time and time again that he can not be more than a worker bee.
Invested alot of time and energy into this dude and he can't remember things I taught him.
Finding a sense of purpose is difficult. It has to evolve as you grow as a man.
The fact that you are thinking about it at your age puts you far ahead intellectual than most people your age. Which can leave you feeling isolated.

I was into crossbreeding cannabis for large portion of my life.
I was trying make some new and great.
I ended up mucking up the genetics pretty bad. End up with all hermaphrodites that smelled and tasted like potpourri.
I've thought in crossbreding cannabis too, but I let go because was too risky. I stayed with soybean
