I got in an argument with my female roommate.

We were talking about female pay at work.

She's for maternity leave, employer-paid birth control and breastfeeding rooms established at work.

I said "all of those will lower your salary" and she said - it shouldn't. It should just be provided ON TOP OF a salary.

If it got rid of maternity leave I’m not sure what kind of tradeoff a breastfeeding room would be, but it wouldn’t get rid of it, not in a million years.

Where I work has breastfeeding rooms and I cant imagine any work getting done with a screaming brat crying out for its moms tit.
