And no one knew it would be the internet it has become. A public utility.
Again, Feminism wasn't really an issue until the 90's and beyond
It took almost a century for it get to where its at.
I disagree. Feminism was a problem in the 60s. Males were pretty much forced from the home.
Feminism is what inspired the welfare state.
Not just hypergamy.
That is true.
it was an issue the day women got the voet
Social security the advent of massive social programs did come about around that time along with the Civil Rights Act of 63
Yep
However, I think the idea at the time was that these programs vice social security wouldnt be around forever.
Boomer men really couldn't see it coming until it was too late. They could not have know what snowball was forming.
Of course not, it was slinking around in the shadows. We had the Cold War to worry about
And if it was already in play, there's no way they could change the course politically. Especially with women voting.
A lot of people deride the McCarthyism of the time when he went after open communists in public life and private, but Communism has always been the enemy
It's crazy but yeah, as soon as they got the voting rights, that was it.
Looking back, I wish he did more.
We may have staved off modern feminism and communism by another generation, maybe two - tops
I don't see a world where women aren't allowed to vote. It would have happened eventually. They should have had the foresight to just make it not about men and women and make voting rights about economics, or some other form of eligibility.
Economically, women would have still not been largely eligible and they could have satisfied all parties (put out the fires) politically.
Wow, the club scene is really dead. The three biggest clubs in the city are permanently closed. I had no idea. Crazy.
Especially the number one club. Actually closed, that's crazy. It was the spot for yeeaarrs.
It's because of online dating.
I wholeheartedly agree with this statement
I think metoo has its own part to play in that
Maybe a sort of death blow
Well the number one club (here at least) closed in 2014. I'm mad late.
I'm old, so...
and MGTOW.... so
Why would any guy want to go to a Club and buy 20 dollar drinks and talk to hoes who have nothing but a used up drunk ass to fuck
Exactly
I mean I knew the days were numbered because of online dating but wow. All three.
Spend money for a small chance of a risky hookup?
No thx lol
Times they are a changin'
If you think about it that's what's causing the death of interaction in general. We have structured society around hookups. Men don't actually have many spaces at all to hang out and interact outside of that context. And even then. They are being entered by feminism and thots who want attention and dick.
Women have plenty of these spaces
Everything's online now. Like brick and mortar stores. And all online social media is geared towards women.
Men have nothing anymore.
Bars.
But are bars really popular with new generations?
