World Of Warcraft

2018-11-21 06:51:10 UTC

Hell no i use my drawing skills in surgery

2018-11-21 06:51:19 UTC

@KD it's about things that add quality to your life and help you know yourself better so you can live with a purpose

2018-11-21 06:51:22 UTC

U wanna see my nunchuck skillz ?? 🤪

2018-11-21 06:51:42 UTC

@KD I agree with that point

2018-11-21 06:51:44 UTC

But if that is someone's goal then who are you to tell them to do something else?

2018-11-21 06:52:10 UTC

Well, I like learning new shit for the sake of learning new shit, I just want to know stuff, it doesn't improve me but it fulfills me.

2018-11-21 06:52:20 UTC

Again what are you getting at?

2018-11-21 06:52:28 UTC

I thought the context was the fundamental tenants of mgtow and how self improvement has anything to do with it.

2018-11-21 06:52:35 UTC

I smell nihilism

2018-11-21 06:52:49 UTC

I would agree that acquiring skills that are never to be used isn't exactly improvement, but it may be fulfilment

2018-11-21 06:52:53 UTC

@KD but if learning knowledge that you will never use takes away from time you would be doing something self destructive then it is a positive, it's a personal thing

2018-11-21 06:53:05 UTC

Okay well here's MY definition of self improvement

2018-11-21 06:53:21 UTC

Are you making changes that improve your Quality of Life

2018-11-21 06:53:30 UTC

if yes? You are improving your condition

2018-11-21 06:54:16 UTC

Are you making changes that improve your physical health, your mental health, etc.? Yes? You are improving your condition

2018-11-21 06:54:19 UTC

I see MGTOW more as a rally point, or a lighthouse. It's a light that attracts the attention of men and warns the of the dangerous rocks that is feminism. This light attracts all different types of men, all logical trying to figure out what the issue is. And a lot of men will blame themselves thinking they need to self improve or self actualize.

2018-11-21 06:54:42 UTC

@KD so if a guy stops banging H to level up his WOW character I will call it an improvement

2018-11-21 06:54:55 UTC

That is not true

2018-11-21 06:55:02 UTC

KD

2018-11-21 06:55:17 UTC

Just because something works well does not mean it cannot be improved

2018-11-21 06:55:25 UTC

@KingGiraffasauragreed not true

2018-11-21 06:55:26 UTC

Are you saying that people should just be honest about having issues?

2018-11-21 06:55:26 UTC

Hmm🤔

2018-11-21 06:55:34 UTC

Okay so then what is one to do KD?

2018-11-21 06:55:43 UTC

"You are perfect as you are, stay as you are"

2018-11-21 06:55:50 UTC

Games as just another diversion

2018-11-21 06:55:51 UTC

You sound like the feminists who excuse people being fat

2018-11-21 06:55:59 UTC

@KingGiraffasaur exactly sounds like incel talk to me now

2018-11-21 06:56:01 UTC

and that *some* hide behind "self improvemint" to mask those issues?

2018-11-21 06:56:20 UTC

@Templar also true templar

2018-11-21 06:56:26 UTC

I mean people with issues would be honest with themselves and want to improve themselves.

2018-11-21 06:56:30 UTC

And to be entirely honest, if you find flaws in yourself, fix them

2018-11-21 06:56:31 UTC

Same reason why fat people go to the gym.

2018-11-21 06:56:38 UTC

So what's the issue?

2018-11-21 06:56:42 UTC

I find flaws in myself so I work to fix them

2018-11-21 06:56:45 UTC

How is that negative?

2018-11-21 06:56:55 UTC

*Denial*

2018-11-21 06:57:00 UTC

That's a fundamental part of the human existence

2018-11-21 06:57:16 UTC

^

2018-11-21 06:57:28 UTC

And if people do act on it IRL?
