Lmaoooo

2018-11-29 10:51:32 UTC

Let's not forget women make over 70% of the spendings and have a say in over 80% of them - examplex for the second would be even buying something expensive like a house or a car, it is likely they will heavily affect what her man will buy.

2018-11-29 10:52:16 UTC

The money thing makes too much sense

2018-11-29 10:52:25 UTC

But of course they don't even make 50% of the money.

2018-11-29 10:52:27 UTC

That's got to be it

2018-11-29 10:52:32 UTC

That too

2018-11-29 10:53:11 UTC

But why do I hear mixed things about the pay gap. A lot of people are saying the pay gap is a myth and others are saying that women make just as much as men

2018-11-29 10:53:27 UTC

or women make less than men*

2018-11-29 10:53:40 UTC

Is it profession based? I know teacher don't make much

2018-11-29 10:53:42 UTC

Dude, you sitll haven't learned about this? Okay, let's go...

2018-11-29 10:54:14 UTC

+/- 35

2018-11-29 10:54:48 UTC

When a woman chooses to be single it’s encouraged and she’s empowering. When a man chooses to do the same thing he’s called a incel, monster, woman hater etc etc. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

2018-11-29 10:55:08 UTC

Think about it, do you really women openly get paid less? Of course not. There is no "Hiring a doctor - men - 1500; women - 1000". It is as they say actually an "earnings" gap. Basically how much women as a totall earn compared to men. And women as a whole tend to go for jobs that pay less, even in the same professions women work less hours.

2018-11-29 10:55:44 UTC

Women are less like to work overtime, they take more sick days, and they take maternity leave

2018-11-29 10:55:48 UTC

A fucking great example is how 90% of nurses are women. But even so 30% of all professional papers on nursing topics are done by men.

2018-11-29 10:56:05 UTC

@InstallGentoo reasons men get paid more on average is because we work more hours, get less sick, want less vacation etc etc

2018-11-29 10:56:17 UTC

2 categories +/-35

2018-11-29 10:56:24 UTC

Okay, that clears up a lot

2018-11-29 10:56:34 UTC

@CoffeeShopsHQ (Ardahan) Isn't that what I said?

2018-11-29 10:56:51 UTC

If women got paid less companies would only hire women (unless they want work to get done)

2018-11-29 10:56:57 UTC
2018-11-29 10:57:36 UTC

Also men tend to, fuck what's the word... Let's say argue for a higher salary, while women just accept whatever they are being told.

2018-11-29 10:57:47 UTC

Negotiate

2018-11-29 10:57:50 UTC

I gotchu

2018-11-29 10:58:08 UTC

Because of that some comapnies, like reddit, forbid salary negotiation.

2018-11-29 10:58:14 UTC

This is why Nice guys finish last too...agreeableness

2018-11-29 10:59:11 UTC

No such thing as a nice guy thats just a term women made up as code for sucker

2018-11-29 10:59:20 UTC

Talking about salary among coworkers is forbidden in companies too, which is garbage to me.

2018-11-29 10:59:44 UTC

@Sigma appently that's illegal for employers to do

2018-11-29 10:59:55 UTC

I've heard that too

2018-11-29 11:00:21 UTC

Where I work, It's highly advised against

2018-11-29 11:00:22 UTC

Guys im 19 Years old and i just wonder... how on earth did it come this far with women, that men are actually forced to go their own way? Women weren’t like this in the 50’s 60’s 70’s riight??

2018-11-29 11:00:23 UTC

Never talk religion, politics, or salary at work. That used to be the norm 50 years ago

2018-11-29 11:00:46 UTC

They clearly told me not to discuss salary with other coworker

2018-11-29 11:00:49 UTC

@CoffeeShopsHQ (Ardahan) where to begin...

2018-11-29 11:01:21 UTC

Discussing salary will cause others to despise you and/or try to tear you down to their level, instead of working harder and getting a raise

2018-11-29 11:01:35 UTC

A lot of headaches

2018-11-29 11:01:42 UTC

@CoffeeShopsHQ (Ardahan) Women't haven't changed. Feminism is not the problem. Women nature is women nature. It just doesn't get limited in any way now in Western societies.

2018-11-29 11:02:13 UTC

In the early 00's I started a job at 7.50 and after 4 months new guys were making $9 to work the same job but they didn't give the older guys raises

2018-11-29 11:02:15 UTC

I keep my pay to myself

2018-11-29 11:02:27 UTC

We only knew the new guy pay cuz they bragged about it
