Just curious to hear other peoples' opinion on this rhetorical question. Is it politics that effect the culture of a country or culture that impacts the politics?
I'm not sure how accurate this is for an example, but if petty theft were legalized in a town, would the population's view of what is right or wrong shift changing the town's morals? Forgive me but an inverse scenario is hard to come up with at this hour.
I'd say both. Culture effects politics and politics effects culture. It just may not neccessarily have the intended effect.
