@SuperHeroDeluxe and then they get out in their mid 30s and have children who have similar impluse control problems at a young age and perpetuate the cycle
we could go on all day with the possible "what about"'s
and then they are hurt by society and will vote (atleast in florida now) for democrat liberal redistribution
get them out of society, keep them out, fix the problem with the legislative process and ease the people in the cycle off of it by passing your legislation
@ArawnBlade speak my dude, i keep seeing ya type, we are nice i swear
i prefer less legislation, i'd like to see more removed
we did very well with immigration before we stared up with the welfare systems
@SuperHeroDeluxe yea thats fair, but what i really meant was that there would be legislation passed in your state/federal house which will remove the welfare
id directly go after what's enabling the welfare system. our legal system should be about giving the government rights, not taking away ones they just took for themselves
(or that we voted for them to take)
Prison tends to exaggerates certain qualities that perpetuate a negative cultural force (such as racial tribalism); they can still attain Welfare and tend to have families or become part of circles that share their views. With the current way the gov is set, legislators and local services don't quite align.
@SuperHeroDeluxe can you give me an example
i'd vote in some crazy person even, one that wasn't shy about kneecapping welfare in general
example: the constitution
the constitution is a document about all the things the government is not allowed to touch. all laws made by the legislative process are fair game after that
the consitution is about what the government CAN do.
it lays everything out clearly, if it's not in there, hands off
No, it's about what it can't
it is definitly about what it cant
Shall NOT be infringed
that is the exact opposite
of what it is
the government can't just make up new shit to do without SC getting involved
The constitution and BoR is a layout of what the government isn't allowed to mess with
@SuperHeroDeluxe listen, i am not trying to be mean here, the constitution is everything the govt is not allowed to touch
@SuperHeroDeluxe go watch a civics video please, please
like liberty?
Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness
@SuperHeroDeluxe everything in the constitution even starts with, "the govt shall not enfringe on"
hello, civics classes from junior high were bullshit
Free civics classes online
if the government does something that can be seen to interfere with my liberty, i can challenge it. that's pretty much everything
if any law prevents me from doing something, i can challenge it.
on constituional grounds
@SuperHeroDeluxe if the government makes a law which violates a clause in the constitution, it is unconstitutional, like making a law favoring one religion over another, that is unconsitutional
that's why i say it doesn't give the government the right to do whatever
The constitution is a box the government dwells in.
if i can demonstrate that their legistlation interferes with my pursuit of happiness, i can challenge it
@SuperHeroDeluxe yes, but no, there have been SC cases which have a foundation for some of those cases
the constitution puts the power on the people, if they don't think that it's a bill of rights for the government, some of you being silly
