ppls personal data ought be legally protected (i mean, information is information) .... or would that be too pedantic of me?

but, would i put someone in prison for getting data on how to make an artificial heart and making one for their child? no

if they weren't using the data to make a profit, i'd have a hard time punishing them

@wotmaniac this is nothing i do not know about the criminal justice system, i just think it is impossible to get the world you want with the killing of these people after 10+ years, it will never get passed. your best hope is to put them in jail and to rationalize that the costs of them being in jail is still cheaper than the net negative social gains that would happen having them be in society or out of it. IQ of course causes them to commit crimes

is there any category(ies) (i'm not asking u to define those categories, just asking if they exist for you) of info that you would be okay with legally protected from ppl being able to see/know? like, it would be against the law for this info to be open?
