Eh, I think this is a justified firing. Obviously I don't like that they look the other way on other stuff (like drag story time) but that is not an appropriate response for a teacher, period. Their opinion on the kids parents is not relevant to the classroom and the topic could easily have been ignored. That's just basic professionalism
