At some level, the government uses force to make you comply with these pronoun laws, at another level, they use force to allow property rights

Pronoun laws are dumb

there is not legit reason to uphold or have them

what's really lame is the people who offer their personal nouns even when they're the natural ones people use by default

the utility of pronoun laws is relative only to the individual, while the utility of property laws is that it makes the society better as a whole

equality of opportunity and equality of outcome come straight for the socialists das kapital by karl marx. The window of acceptable debate on the right has shifted so much so that you have individuals on the right that think equality of opportunity is valid and good as an idea. Where as 100 years ago that would be decried as socialists and communist

it's just that the scope of what has to be kept equal to pursue that has changed

Liberalism itself is egalitarian in nature

The right wing has always positioned itself as anti egalitarian

There are races they are not equal, there are genders they are not equal, some people are born smart, others not, some cultures are better than others

a simple way of looking at it would be that it went from equality under the law -> equality in regards to political power -> economic equality -> social/cultural equality

The left is the opposite on all those points

The right needs to stop this idea of “conservatism” and actually push back instead of conserving ideas that the left had 40 years prior. How long until the conservatives start supporting trans? 20 years ago the conservatives would never have allowed gays in.

the genders/classes/races already have freedom of opportunity. we achieved that in the USA
