I don’t think the Jews have anything to do with it

2019-12-07 17:16:40 UTC

freedom is power, you could say it's related to "freedom" in the sense that it empowers a ruling class and by virtue of that they have the "freedom" to acts as they wish but that's a meaningless thing to say

2019-12-07 17:16:54 UTC

mainstream lefties are liberals

2019-12-07 17:17:04 UTC

nope

2019-12-07 17:17:07 UTC

If anything they have good families which shoot for good education and it pays dividends when they all become doctors and lawyers

2019-12-07 17:17:16 UTC

liberals won't back forced pronoun usage

2019-12-07 17:17:28 UTC

^^^

2019-12-07 17:17:29 UTC

liberals have some core values that are incompatible

2019-12-07 17:17:32 UTC

sure they will

2019-12-07 17:17:38 UTC

No he's right

2019-12-07 17:17:48 UTC

ACTUAL liberals

2019-12-07 17:18:05 UTC

By the definition of a liberal they're people who hold traditional values, but are also open to new ideas

2019-12-07 17:18:11 UTC

like dave rubin is an example of a liberal who can rationally discuss his views

2019-12-07 17:18:12 UTC

usually pronoun laws apply to landlords and business owners

2019-12-07 17:18:15 UTC

and so on

2019-12-07 17:18:24 UTC

it's a matter of "discrimination"

2019-12-07 17:18:28 UTC

in New York, yes

2019-12-07 17:18:30 UTC

Leftist are the "uSE mY PrOnOunS"

2019-12-07 17:18:57 UTC

forcing the words you use controls the ideas you can discuss and think about with others

2019-12-07 17:19:04 UTC

it's mind control with extra steps

2019-12-07 17:19:15 UTC

At some level, the government uses force to make you comply with these pronoun laws, at another level, they use force to allow property rights

2019-12-07 17:20:18 UTC

Pronoun laws are dumb

2019-12-07 17:20:33 UTC

there is not legit reason to uphold or have them

2019-12-07 17:21:01 UTC

what's really lame is the people who offer their personal nouns even when they're the natural ones people use by default

2019-12-07 17:21:10 UTC

virtue signal much?

2019-12-07 17:21:19 UTC

You just can't help it, it's hard coded into people

2019-12-07 17:21:36 UTC

the utility of pronoun laws is relative only to the individual, while the utility of property laws is that it makes the society better as a whole

2019-12-07 17:21:45 UTC

If nature had it any other way they would've made us like reptiles that could switch genders, but we *don't*

2019-12-07 17:21:59 UTC

lol, good luck with the pronoun thing in Spanish. they tried that in spain, it fails miserably due to how the language is constructed

2019-12-07 17:22:06 UTC

the core idea is that prejudices like this impinge on "equality of opportunity"

2019-12-07 17:22:11 UTC

@Aldomuz like the frogs?

2019-12-07 17:22:15 UTC

Yes lol

2019-12-07 17:23:55 UTC

equality of opportunity and equality of outcome come straight for the socialists das kapital by karl marx. The window of acceptable debate on the right has shifted so much so that you have individuals on the right that think equality of opportunity is valid and good as an idea. Where as 100 years ago that would be decried as socialists and communist

2019-12-07 17:24:04 UTC
2019-12-07 17:24:42 UTC

liberalism has always been about equality of opportunity in one form or another

2019-12-07 17:25:03 UTC

I agree

2019-12-07 17:25:07 UTC

it's just that the scope of what has to be kept equal to pursue that has changed

2019-12-07 17:25:13 UTC

Liberalism itself is egalitarian in nature

2019-12-07 17:25:30 UTC

The right wing has always positioned itself as anti egalitarian

2019-12-07 17:26:05 UTC

There are races they are not equal, there are genders they are not equal, some people are born smart, others not, some cultures are better than others

2019-12-07 17:26:12 UTC

a simple way of looking at it would be that it went from equality under the law -> equality in regards to political power -> economic equality -> social/cultural equality
