computers are just to easy to attack.
I trust that my vote is counted when i put it in that box more then if i put it into a computer, and they could just as easily be takeing that box out back and burning it for all i know.
1) Citizen ID
a. You should be required to have a card which states that you are a citizen of the united states, or that you are in the process of getting citizenship, or that you are on a work visa, and it should have your information for social security, Medicare, drivers license, clearances, and it should have a pin for duel factor authentication just like a credit card so to have security and ability to get new cards when necessary. As well as if you are on welfare you have to use the citizen card so that it is tracked.
what happens if that card is stolen?
just like a credit card, if you do not have the pin as well as the password for dual factor authentication, you can call up, answer from security questions, verfiy it is you, quickly change the pin and then get a new one at the DMV
if you really wanted to be supper secure about it your card has a pointer on it for something like a finger print database and you have a fingerprint scaner on site.
yea the finger print would be great for getting the card back and changed quickly
but all i can say about the topic has been said at this point.
Just get a tatoo of a qr code on your private parts
No one would dare try to validate your id
@Wizard_of_The_West fuck man, why not just make everyone get a bar code on their arm?
Because you can literally take a picture of it and copy it
what about a chip underneath the skin
You can literally scan it in passing and copy it
Or knock'em with a punny joke
no it will have dual factor authentication just like the new chip cards
you will have to have the pin to activate it
that is how the new credit cards have been able to destory the card scanners
For now
the problem is that these things can still be broken on a much larger scale if it is done online.
@ARockRaider how so? i dont see a way with dual factor authentication
he says it really well in that vid, if its online changeing one vote cost about as much as changeing a million votes.
Didn't you watch Silicone Valley? Just wait for AI to crack it.
`Multi-factor authentication is an authentication method in which a computer user is granted access only after successfully presenting two or more pieces of evidence to an authentication mechanism: knowledge, possession, and inherence. Two-factor authentication is a type, or subset, of multi-factor authentication`
and again we aren't really talking about the voters ID that is the problem, we are talking about the final counter.
@ARockRaider the individual will be able to check their vote was checked in the system after voting to make sure that they did it right
and if the system lies to you?
how would you know?
You also have the problem with companies that facilitate the networks being hacked and then copying the values.
@ARockRaider the real question is if this is a harder system to lie about than the current one
which the multi factor would be
currently you just show up and go and have no way to check
no way to check afterwards if it was counted
because in the current one we *should* have people hand counting the votes in front of reps form every side, if there is a miss count there is someone who is more likely to be upset about that miss count right there.
Just use bitcoin to vote duh
in the last mid term eleciton there was litteraly a black women who was caught and tried for destorying republican ballots in florida
So much for no voter fraud
the entire place was complicit in the fraud
you think there are not more of that happening?
so you send in your own reps to watch the vote count at all the poll stations in that area, if someone has a problem with more eyes on the box they need to be investagted.
