It wasnt

2019-12-19 05:55:41 UTC

per unit

2019-12-19 05:56:04 UTC

I'm just reading the writing on the wall. The F-35 is arguably the premier funding fuck-up for 2018.

2019-12-19 05:56:20 UTC

zumwalt tbh

2019-12-19 05:56:35 UTC

zumwalt was the same thing as the f22

2019-12-19 05:56:40 UTC

pretty much

2019-12-19 05:56:46 UTC

No

2019-12-19 05:57:03 UTC

except zumwalt production was canceled earlier

2019-12-19 05:57:06 UTC

The f22 can shoot its guns and the USAF will still have money left over after a few volleys

2019-12-19 05:57:20 UTC

F35 costs 85 million per unit

2019-12-19 05:57:27 UTC

Christ that hurts to read

2019-12-19 05:57:32 UTC

f22 costs 150 million per unit

2019-12-19 05:57:39 UTC

about double

2019-12-19 05:58:14 UTC

and keep in mind that alot of electronic systems in the f22 is in the f35

2019-12-19 05:58:17 UTC

Zumwalt was 4.4B for the hull

2019-12-19 05:58:27 UTC

Zumwalt is a good ship.

2019-12-19 05:58:27 UTC

The war in Afghanistan and the war in Iraq. One of the main problems is foreign wars. We've been in Afghanistan for 18 years and its accomplished close to nothing. Allll the way back 2002 top generals were talking about how much of a shit show it was

2019-12-19 05:58:30 UTC

For testing

2019-12-19 05:58:36 UTC

Railguns

2019-12-19 05:58:41 UTC

not much else

2019-12-19 05:58:54 UTC

legit dont care

2019-12-19 05:59:00 UTC

F-18 master race

2019-12-19 05:59:01 UTC

To be fair, the "war in Afghanistan" is more of enforcing a peaceful democratic state at this point.

2019-12-19 05:59:03 UTC

I hate the washington post but i cant be bothered to look it up elsewhere

2019-12-19 05:59:33 UTC

Frankly we are now ahead of the chinese by one generation now due to the f35

2019-12-19 05:59:50 UTC

When you put the annual rate of American causalities into perspective, more people died from being crushed by vending machines than in active combat in Afghanistan in 2019.

2019-12-19 05:59:58 UTC

china will get to where we are in like 10 years

2019-12-19 06:00:07 UTC

Russia will never come close however

2019-12-19 06:00:18 UTC

The documents were released inder the Freedom of Informatoon Act after a three year legal battle

2019-12-19 06:00:29 UTC

yeah russia is like

2019-12-19 06:00:43 UTC

really not all *that* threatening

2019-12-19 06:00:52 UTC

Every person in war gaming right now is wondering about china

2019-12-19 06:00:54 UTC

Not russia

2019-12-19 06:01:12 UTC

In the interviews over 400 officisls offered their unrestrained opinions on what went wrong in the war in Afghanistan

2019-12-19 06:01:13 UTC

But cnn wont tell you that

2019-12-19 06:01:15 UTC

While some have entertained the Russia-Sino Axis power, the real danger is the standing army of China.

2019-12-19 06:01:25 UTC

but of course you won't hear too much about the threat china poses cause of their $$$

2019-12-19 06:02:17 UTC

to my understanding the only reason Russia is on the world stage is cuz they have nukes and they are bigger then most of europe.
they really are not in the USs weight class.

2019-12-19 06:02:35 UTC

@Troye And this is where I often encounter an argument of hypocrisy. Take Trump on pulling troops from Syria. Some proclaimed this as a necessary action to conserve funding and prevent the loss of American life. Others vehemently criticize the president for creating a vaccum rather than embarking on an endless occupation similar to Afghanistan.
