about double
and keep in mind that alot of electronic systems in the f22 is in the f35
Zumwalt was 4.4B for the hull
Zumwalt is a good ship.
The war in Afghanistan and the war in Iraq. One of the main problems is foreign wars. We've been in Afghanistan for 18 years and its accomplished close to nothing. Allll the way back 2002 top generals were talking about how much of a shit show it was
For testing
Railguns
not much else
legit dont care
F-18 master race
To be fair, the "war in Afghanistan" is more of enforcing a peaceful democratic state at this point.
I hate the washington post but i cant be bothered to look it up elsewhere
Frankly we are now ahead of the chinese by one generation now due to the f35
When you put the annual rate of American causalities into perspective, more people died from being crushed by vending machines than in active combat in Afghanistan in 2019.
china will get to where we are in like 10 years
Russia will never come close however
The documents were released inder the Freedom of Informatoon Act after a three year legal battle
yeah russia is like
Every person in war gaming right now is wondering about china
Not russia
In the interviews over 400 officisls offered their unrestrained opinions on what went wrong in the war in Afghanistan
But cnn wont tell you that
While some have entertained the Russia-Sino Axis power, the real danger is the standing army of China.
but of course you won't hear too much about the threat china poses cause of their $$$
to my understanding the only reason Russia is on the world stage is cuz they have nukes and they are bigger then most of europe.
they really are not in the USs weight class.
@Troye And this is where I often encounter an argument of hypocrisy. Take Trump on pulling troops from Syria. Some proclaimed this as a necessary action to conserve funding and prevent the loss of American life. Others vehemently criticize the president for creating a vaccum rather than embarking on an endless occupation similar to Afghanistan.
All i have to say about the russia-sino relationship is that they use different standard ammunition
That alone shows that there is strain
And not as much cooperation as you might think
Solid point. Always figured govt's were incompatible, never consider the armaments perspective.
if russia didnt have nukes they wouldn't register as any more than a minor adversary
well
@Cobra Commander pretty much
Generals openly admitted that we wasted billions trying to mold Afganistan into what we wanted it to be without any real direction on doing so
maybe thats *a little* unfair but yeah
I do as well
But not because of your reasons
