yeah, yours failed
quit bein a poof
Try living in Philadelphia. I lived there for a while. The whole city is basically an area you don't want to be in at night
I'm in texas, I just wondered where texas plates go if its a caravan of illegals
Kensington is worse than some third world countries
yea the dems would love for that to be all of america
Its crazy how much like hell it is
easier to control people
thats the thing people dont realize
yk everyone goes all... oh man i dnt want socialism... but then they say.. well legal immigration is fine.
not understanding that the people that are coming in vote for more government control
they favor hate speech laws and gun control overwhelmingly
and the dems actually incentivize this behavior with welfare and etc
I see both sides on immigration. On the one hand open borders are a disaster and can not be allowed. And if the people coming in are going to have bad values we don't want an increase of people like that. On the other hand the US was built entirely on immigrants, many "illegal". And I support people trying to make a better life for themselves. Most of the people coming in work harder than a lot of legal citizens. Its tough because neither option is good
no it wasnt built entirely on immigrants
not entirely, but a fuck ton of labour came over in the steamship era
I don't support illegal immigration btw
chinese, irish, italian, mexican
canadians
our ancestors came here and conquered this land in a bloody war. conflict. and since the beginning of our country until 1965 we had very strict immigration requirements
erm, no that wasn't really it either
like the island of Manhattan
most of that was done by small pox
and that was largely an apathetic accident
The only people in the US who aren't immigrants or recently decended from them are native Americans
we still won a war, more or less. there may have been an unintended advantage due to them lacking our immune systems
<:oof:509592896173899786>
we won a war... against the English
then much later there was the homestead act and manifest destiney
30% of the settlers died in our conflicts with the natives
Andrew Jackson and whatnot
so i mean there was definitely battles
but we were already a nation long before that
is my point
yea i know that,
thats why im saying its like really like that cliche of "we are all immigrants"
90+% of the natives died
because there is a big difference in the people who came to america back then. and those who come today
those who come today dont even speak the same language we do. and have no ancestral ties to the land.
which we, at this point do.
