At first I thought bernie sanders might be a true believer (even if his ideas were bad he at least really believed in them), ,but the more you see things like this the more I realized he's sort of just a fraud, just not as obviously as many other democrats
I think he believes in something, but smaller issues like this are just adopted for the same reason as any other politician
Tbf, he is at least consistent on saying banning guns is bad. So not completely authoritarian, just inexcusably naively socialist

the story about the girl, I feel really bad for asking "who is paying for her?" but I think it is an important question.
at the same time, I think it is a VERY bad idea to say "this person should be killed/let to die because they are in pain" people are in pain all the time, it's part of life and that path will kill lots and lots of people.
