you know that regulations don't always make things better yah?
plenty often they work AGAINST their stated goal for one reason or the other.
for example, you ban something like a straw to reduce the amount of plastic in the enviroment, the new paper straws have a thin plastic wraper and may tend to get out into the envioment much more often then the paper ones.
(not saying that is what is gonna happen, but it is the sort of thing that DOES happen)
something i still want to know is what happens if a loaded truck of Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) runs off a bridge, will it be just as bad as an oil tanker or worse?

DEF is 1/3 urea and 2/3 water. So spilling it in river may kill the fish in a deluge but otherwise it's harmless in small amounts.
