I'd rather pay out the ass than have some people I've never met decide I can't get healthcare.

It would be possible with a conservative point of view of a system.

A better policy would be using UBI to try and help those in poverty pay for their own healthcare

i would look into Yang's UBI policies, and all of his other policies as well, he's the candidate with the most policies on his website. pretty insightful tax options, like a VAT tax.

There's a 5 cent tax on Soda in my state.

and basically the U.S. has a way higher survival rate than most of europe
