it's Australia but same shit
That's already bollocks
Sales were already falling, and have been for 20 years
Sorry, 30 years
Forgot i'm old ๐
16.5% in 4 years is nothing to sneeze at
I'd say the grim pictures will have more of an affect than the plain packs, personally. I don't particularly like looking at a dead bloke on my packs.
The grim pictures were introduced onto branded packs prior to the introduction of plain packs too
But there's no evidence that plain packaging caused all, or if any, of that drop
THat's all i'm saying
I'm not saying it didn't
it's evidence of some
Not really
it's wilful ignorance to suggest it's had no effect
It's evidence of it changing people's opinions
And that's perfectly fine
I do agree with Jack that it's definitely had an effect, but I don't agree that it's anything significant in the overall drop in smoking as a whole
that's the whole thing though, it's about changing opinions to try to get people off them lmao
Aye
aren't they only available in 20 packs now?
Yeah, but Malboro gets around that by just packaging two regular packs together <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>
It's funny how much you actually pick up when selling them
hmm british citizens who moved abroad only got the right to vote in 1985
alright then
I didnt realise the right to vote at 18 only came in on 1969
Like, the Malboro packs are just held together in another plastic wrap, but it's sold as 40.
the right to vote at all only came in for most people in like 1910
you mean 1918 with the first peoples representation act... but that was 21
"Representation of the People Act 1969 reduces the voting age to 18"
