i think the more recent handling of it has been the final insult - the absolute refusal to admit that theres a demographic targeting element, which does actually make it a hate crime too

Imagine what happens when an organised group starts going after them

People WILL organise if it picks up

you can get prosecuted with hate crime for a tweet, but apparently not raping white girls

People organise to capture people who solicit kids online

it's so completely insane that this was inevitable
